ABOUT OUR BAMBOO & EUCALYPTUS SATEEN & TWILL WEAVES

Bamboo Bliss bedding and towels are extremely soft and smooth and have a subtle elegant sheen to the surface. Our Bamboo Viscose and Eucalyptus Tencel™ Lyocell fabrics are often compared to the softness and suppleness of fine silk and cashmere, but don't be mislead by this comparison. Bamboo Viscose and Eucalyptus Tencel™ fabrics are extremely soft, but they are not slippery like some silks and satins.

Made of the finest quality, 300, 400 and 600 thread count, single ply Bamboo Viscose and Eucalyptus Tencel™ yarns, the unique qualities of our Smooth Sateen and Sateen Twill weave fabrics make these linens softer, more luxurious and durable than even the highest thread count luxury linens.

Our incredibly silky soft 600 Thread Count Bliss Grand Luxe Bamboo and 600 Thread Count Eucalyptus Bliss Smooth Sateen weave fabrics are incomparably smooth and soft, and the tightly woven 600 Thread Count fabric provides increased durability.

Our Original Bliss Signature Classic 400 Thread Count  and Bliss Villa Eco-Luxe 300 Thread Sateen Twill weave fabrics combine the elegance and slight sheen of sateen with the durability of a twill weave. Our Bliss Villa Eco-Luxe line is made with the highest quality superior thread weight yarns. Bliss Villa Eco-Luxe sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases are also oversized to provide more fabric coverage on extra deep mattresses.

And, just like the rest of us : ), these sheets just get better with age. The incredibly smooth softness is enhanced with every use and wash. Without added chemicals, it’s only natural you’ll see a few wrinkles. But you won’t mind. Our fabric is so soft and supple, you’ll simply smooth them away, and enjoy the natural luxury of our Bamboo and Eucalyptus Bliss.

It's Indescribable

But we can honestly say once you've slept on Bamboo and Eucalyptus Bliss, chances are you'll never want to sleep on any other sheet again. The fact is, bamboo and eucalyptus fabrics are almost impossible to describe. If you've never tried bamboo or eucalyptus, you've never experienced anything like it. We use the finest quality bamboo viscose Eucalyptus Tencel™ yarns which give our products a ultra soft and smooth feel, our bamboo and eucalyptus fabrics are 300, 400 and 600 thread count construction--equal to about 1000 thread count fine cotton. But, Thread Count is not the only thing that counts when comparing these linens. The comfort and feel of our bamboo and eucalyptus bedding and towels is beyond compare. Our sheets are woven with superior quality single ply 80 and 60 Thread Weight bamboo viscose Eucalyptus Tencel™ yarns. We use the highest quality yarn weights, in addition to using the best quality single ply yarn, which is important to prevent pilling. (2 ply bamboo yarns are more susceptible to pilling).

Amazing Thermal Regulating Fabric--Not TOO Hot. Not TOO Cold. Just RIGHT.

Bamboo and eucalyptus fabrics adjust to your body temperature. Millions of micro gaps in the fiber make these the fasting wicking fabrics available, those millions of micro gaps make our bamboo and eucalyptus sheets much more breathable than any fine cotton sheet. This means you will stay cooler and more comfortable in the summer and the fabric warm you faster in the winter. However, you don't have to worry about overheating, because these micro gaps allow more air to flow between the fabric and your skin. Many customers tell us that until trying bamboo bliss they would throw off their top sheet when they slept because it made them too hot. With our bamboo and eucalyptus bed sheets you will not want to sleep without a top sheet. Our fabric drapes your body perfectly, and it breathes 10-20 times better than any fine silk (silk is one of the worst wicking fabrics).

Bamboo and Eucalyptus Textiles are Good for Us AND our Planet!

Bamboo fabrics are highly sustainable and biodegradable. Bamboo textiles are made from of Moso bamboo--don't worry, it's not the type that pandas eat. Bamboo generates much more oxygen than equivalent strands of trees, helping to reduce levels of carbon dioxide. It is also self-irrigating and requires much less water than the equivalent cotton crops. Bamboo is an incredible resource with so many practical uses--not only bedding, but clothing, flooring, furniture, etc. It's nice to know we can contribute our own healthy living and to the health of our planet.

Nothing grows faster than bamboo! It holds the Guinness World Record as the fastest growing plant. You can literally watch it grow, and up to 3 feet per day, reaching heights up to 98 feet, all without the aid of fertilizers or pesticides. In contrast, non-organically grown cotton accounts for 24% of global pesticide sales and 11% of global fertilizer sales. Eco-conscious people will appreciate that bamboo stalks are cut at harvest, not pulled out by the root, allowing stalks to re-grow from the existing root. This makes bamboo an excellent tool for soil conservation. Commercial cotton grown everywhere except Brazil and Peru is replanted after each year. Bamboo plays a critical role in the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide, by releasing 35% more oxygen and taking in 5 times the volume of greenhouse gasses as an equivalent stand of trees. Furthermore, bamboo requires 1/3 the amount of water that cotton does.

Bamboo Bliss Bamboo Viscose fibers are made using organically grown bamboo and the raw materials are selected from non-polluted areas in Asia. Bamboo Bliss linens are made in China from our certified textile plant that has not only passed the Social Responsibility Audit but has also been certified by many top retailers.

Eucalyptus TENCEL™ fibers help maintain environmental balance by being integrated into nature's cycle

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers help to maintain the environmental balance by being integrated into nature's cycle. The fibers originate from the renewable raw material wood, created by photosynthesis. The certified biobased fibers are manufactured using an environmentally responsible production process. The fibers are certified as compostable and biodegradable, and thus can fully revert back to nature.

Eucalyptus TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers have gained a commendable reputation for their environmentally responsible closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into cellulosic fibers with high resource efficiency and low environmental impact. This solvent-spinning process recycles process water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. Consumers can have the assurance that their home textile choices are not contributing to an adverse impact on the environment.

  • USDA certified biobased product

TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers are produced from wood pulp from sustainably managed sources, a renewable resource. They have earned United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) BioPreferred® designation.

  • Biodegradable / Compostable

Derived from nature, all standard TENCEL™ Lyocell fiber types have been certified by the Belgian certification company Vinçotte as biodegradable and compostable under industrial, home, soil and marine conditions, thus they can fully revert back to nature.
